About
Wanderbay is Plettenberg Bay’s first immersive event experience, breaking out of the age-old mould of big-names, flashy marketing and predictability.
Life is about the journey, not the destination. The experiences along the way are what define us. Wanderbay presents a temporal zone in which to reflect on memories made and lessons learnt. While reflection is a necessity, another year around the sun on this rollercoaster calls for celebration. This isn’t just any dance; this is the release that allows one to charge into the New Year with a smile on your dial.

Building the project
Aimed at a youthful target market, this New Year’s Eve experience is curated to challenge the norm; enchanting its clientele in a meaningful and impactful way, so as to leave long-lasting impressions. The success of Wanderbay relies on a combination of word-of-mouth advertising and traditional marketing techniques to fuel being the talk of the town.
The event enlists the best local and international talent to support our mission to celebrate the New Year in a meaningful way. Wanderbay caters for a variety of tastes with two distinct dance floors; both with the same goal in mind – high quality dance music.
The Result
The support of Wanderbay’s inaugural event was phenomenal to say the least, selling out days before the celebration.
The celebration has changed the landscape of New Year’s Eve in Plettenberg Bay and is inspired by the changes that are to come.
A music experience for the young at heart and like minded people.
